There are three ways you can help with time and effort:

Staff the Pantry:
The pantry is open Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., and Tuesdays from 3:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. Volunteers are needed to staff the pantry, which includes check-in and assisting clients in selecting their “purchases”. Volunteers will need to arrive 15 minutes prior to opening for set up and remain for 15 minutes after closing to assist in shutdown.
Stock the Pantry:
Volunteers are needed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, from 8:00 to approximately 9:30, to assist with organizing and filling shelves and freezers.
Pick Up at the Food Bank:
The pantry sources a significant portion of its needs at the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, located in Cornwall-on-Hudson. Volunteers with trucks or large SUVs are needed to make the round trip to the Food Bank and pick up the food. A typical trip requires approximately a 2-1/2 hour commitment of time.
